Privacy Policy for Mog AI

Mog AI ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

• Name and email address (if you create an account)

Face Data and Images

• Photos you upload or capture using the app's facial analysis feature
• Facial analysis scores and attributes generated from your photo (e.g., attractiveness score, jawline score, face shape)
• We do not collect, store, or generate biometric identifiers such as Face ID data, facial recognition templates, or facial geometry maps

Usage Data

• App interactions and feature usage
• Device type, operating system, and performance data

• Provide AI-powered face analysis, scores, and ratings
• Generate personalized looksmaxxing tips and daily routines
• Save your scan history and results to your account
• Improve app functionality and user experience
• Respond to user support requests

3. Face Data — Collection, Use, Sharing, and Retention

What face data is collected

When you use the Facial Analysis feature, you voluntarily provide a photo of your face (taken with your camera or selected from your photo library). This photo is the only face data we collect. We do not collect Face ID data, facial geometry, biometric templates, or any other biometric identifiers.

How face data is used

Your photo is used solely to generate your facial analysis report — including numerical scores (e.g., overall attractiveness, jawline, symmetry) and qualitative attributes (e.g., face shape, eye type). It is used for no other purpose. We do not use your photo for advertising, to train AI models, or for identity verification.

Consent before sharing

Before your very first facial analysis scan, the app will display a consent screen that explains what data is sent, who it is sent to, and how it is handled. You must explicitly tap "I Understand" to proceed. If you decline, no photo is transmitted and no analysis is performed.

Third-party sharing — who receives your photo

Your photo is transmitted to OpenRouter.ai (openrouter.ai), a third-party AI inference service, for real-time facial analysis using an AI vision model. OpenRouter.ai receives only the photo — no name, email address, or other identifying information is attached to the request. OpenRouter.ai processes the image transiently and does not store, retain, or use your photo for any purpose beyond generating the analysis response. Their privacy policy is available at https://openrouter.ai/privacy.

No other third party receives your face photo.

Where face data is stored

• On your device: Your photo is saved locally in the app's private Documents folder. It is overwritten each time you perform a new scan, so only your most recent photo is ever stored on-device.
• OpenRouter.ai: Your photo is not stored. It is processed in real time and immediately discarded after the analysis response is returned.
• Mog AI servers (Supabase): Only your analysis results — numerical scores and text attributes — are stored in your Mog AI account. The raw photo is never uploaded to our servers.

How long face data is retained

• Photo (on-device): Retained locally until you perform your next scan, at which point it is overwritten. It is permanently deleted when you delete the app or delete your account.
• Photo (OpenRouter.ai): Not retained. Discarded immediately after processing.
• Analysis scores (Supabase): Retained until you delete your account. You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Profile → Delete Account within the app.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data.

Beyond OpenRouter.ai (described in Section 3 above), we may share information with:

• Supabase (supabase.com) — for account authentication and storing your analysis results and profile data
• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — for managing in-app subscriptions and purchases
• Legal authorities if required by applicable law

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for all data sent to third-party services. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Your Rights

• Access your personal data
• Request deletion of your data (use "Delete Account" in the app or email us)
• Withdraw consent to face data processing at any time by discontinuing use of the Facial Analysis feature

7. Children's Privacy

Mog AI is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates.
